Wednesday of the Astronomy of Asiago, the Solar System, the evening of 17 July
Wednesday, July 17 at the Sala Jiminy cricket of Asiago to 21.00 hours will be held the meeting "Wednesday of astronomy" entitled: "the new Solar System".
The Solar System
is the planetary system consists of a variety of celestial bodies kept in orbit by the gravity force of the Sun; There is also the Earth. Consists of eight planets, their moons, five dwarf planets and billions of small bodies.
This last category includes asteroids, largely divided between two asteroidal belts (the asteroid belt and the Kuiperbelt), comets, meteoroids and interplanetary dust. The solar System is made up from the Sun, from four Rocky planets , from the main belt of asteroids, four giantouterplanets , from five dwarf planets, Kuiper belt, from diffuse disk and the hypothetical cloudof Oort, home to most of the comets.
