XVI Choir Festival Santa Giustina, choir, choir "cavern" Entries "the echo of the valleys," Chorus "Asiago", Roana-Altopiano di Asiago, July 2, 2016

Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 21.00 at the parish church of Roana, Asiago plateau, the choral Association SPELON ENTRIESCA di Roana organizes the XVI th Choir Festival of Santa Garciaa, in collaboration with the parish and the Local Community.

Along with the "cavern" Entries, this year the Choir Festival will be attended by the choirs guests "L'eco DELLE VALLILusiana (VI)" and "CHORUS ASIAGOAsiago (VI)".

CAVERN CHOIR VOICES

The choir was born in Roana in 1997 when a group of friends decided to create a new chorus with their songs, running them with a few items and giving rise to The rumors of the Cavern, with reference to the chasm of eternal snow located nearby the Monte Verena di Roana.
The spirit of the group is to be able to convey to the public, stories, scenery, emotions, feelings and fantasies of our sites using only songs written and set to music by the group itself.
The choral group tries in all matches in which it participates, to convey the feelings that the choristers rehearse in the reading of the songs through various forms of vocal expressivity. Also, believing deeply in the cultural message of the music, try to spread it in the various meetings, whether concerts or social events.

THE CHORUS "L'ECO DELLE VALLI"

Among the lush valleys and gleaming in the summer and those covered by white blanket of snow during the winter, here comes the chorus "l'eco delle Valli".
Its name is originated from the fusion of the names of the valleys that surround our territory, and at the same time a tribute to this wonderful nature that always manages to enchant you with its Majesty.
The chorus, consisting of 26 items, was born in February 2005 by combining a group of friends, enthusiasts of singing, with the intent of forming a choir to give a new voice to the plateau and the village of Lusiana.
The first teacher who had assumed the leadership has been able to impart to these simple lovers of choral singing, fundamental teachings and concepts with professionalism and dedication.
Since March 2008, the direction is headed by master Andrea Pinaroli, admirer and connoisseur of Bepi De Marzi and former member of his choir, "Crodaioli".
He currently is working with the Group experimenting with new techniques he privileged choral.

THE "CORO ASIAGO"

The "Coro Asiago" was established in 1952 by a group of friends were members of the "schola cantorum" Parish, who decided to come together to learn the songs of Trento, animated by a. T. passion for the mountains and for singing, supported by the friendship that had been created between them.
The debut was on August 16, 1952 in Asiago on stage at the square of the "Prunno", under the name "Asiago choral group"; other concerts that met with favorable reviews by fans and critics and this created enthusiasm inside and outside of the choir and made him increasingly convinced of having to continue the journey, preparing and presenting increasingly challenging and important songs.
The Repertoire was enriched with fanciful re-creations of Gianni Malatesta, from fine compositions of Marco Chapman, from sublime musical inventions of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, polyphonic research proposals from picked Paul Bon, from new choral harmonies Bepi de Marzi.
Even the name "Asiago" choral group, around the years 60, changed, becoming "Coro Monte Ortigara" in tune with that of the newly formed Anas section of Asiago.
The address prevalent in those years was to propose the traditional songs and the events of the "great war", that marked deeply the people ofAsiago plateau; all this as a kind of re-enactment as an end in itself, but rather with the intention of offering "real" stories, pages of real life, to reflect on the errors of man and on the futility of violence.  Just a few years later the choir took its current name of "Asiago Choir" and, with the alternation of the various directors, could achieve many and different experiences, confirming, from time to time, the will and the commitment to continuing, conscious of being in addition to choral expression montanara, also subject to the creation and dissemination of popular music culture.
Over the years, even the musical aspect underwent a maturation and the choir, in the recent past, has turned his attention to other aspects of the Folksong, in what is termed the "new chorus", seen as a chance to broaden their horizons, to try to enrich their cultural background and propose as well as well as other types of musicality.
The choir currently consists of 41 items that come from various municipalities of the plateau; This allowed him to grow numerically and technically, taking one district size never known before
