Malga Mazze Inferiori is a small mountain jewel, family-run, located in Mazzette near Monte Corno,on the edge ofthe Asiago Seven Municipalities Plateau.

The hut is located along Cai hiking trails and can be reached on foot with a pleasant and easy walk of about ten minutes on foot (leaving the car at the Monte Corno parking lot) or by car via a dirt road in good condition.

Going down to the hut you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Venetian Plain and, if the sky is clear, you can even see the Venice Lagoon. It is so pleasant to linger in the hut to enjoy the landscape, immersed in unspoiled nature, and breathe the fine mountain air in the quiet of the place.

PRODUCTION AND SALE OF CHEESE, OTHER DAIRY PRODUCTS AND SAUSAGES

From June to September the Malagasy take the cattle to the pastures of the alpine pastures, to make them live in the open air, eat the grass and fresh essences of the meadows; their milk is thus enriched with all the flowering notes of the fresh herbs with which the cows feed. This leads to the production of genuine, tasty and fine malaga cheese.

In the morning when the milking is over the malgari bring the alpeggio milk to the dairy, where, with freshly milked milk, tasty normal and flavored cheesesare produced, tasty pressed cheese (aged over a month), mezzanine (aged from three to ten months), tosella, but alsofresh dairy products such as ricotta and yogurt.

In Malga Lower Clubs are also produced sausages and an excellent and genuine suppressed.

All malga products can be purchased directly on site in the small shop open daily from 9 am to 7 pm from early June to the end of September.

EATING IN MALGA

The malga is a farmhouse open to the public from the beginning of June to the end ofSeptember, every day of the week, and offers catering service for both lunch and dinner (reservations are required for the evening).

You can taste typical mountain dishes with a frank and tasty taste, prepared in a homemade way with the products of the malga and the surrounding area, such as canederli butter and sage, lasagne or pasta with meat ragout, tosella with polenta and mushrooms, cotechino with polenta and sauerkraut, stew or roast with side dish and polenta, melted cheese with suppressed and polenta or mushrooms. Every day, moreover, a dish is offered at the choice of the cook.

Alternatively, you can also taste the excellent products of the malga by making a mixed dish of cheeses and cold cuts or rustic and tasty stuffed sandwiches.

And to conclude the stop at the malga in sweetness, or if you want to stop for a sweet snack, all you have to do is taste the delicious homemade tarts and panna cotta.

Malga Mazze Inferiori has an indoor room, with 25 seats, and a large open-air space covered with marquee that can accommodate up to 50 people.

EVENTS IN MALGA

During the summer Malga Mazze Inferiori hosts some events such as the sunset walk with tasting or dinner in the hut and the day with the sculptor.
