Le avventure di numero primo di Paolini e Bettin

The fantafavola of Marco Paolini and Gianfranco Bettin depicts a future world turned from biotechnology in which artificial intelligence turns out to have, unknowingly, even a heart. In this reality the mountain preserves its irreducible difference compared to a globalised world, where Marghera and Venice invade the Plains as far as the Alps and the same sea loses its specificity. The mountain comes to light Nicola, a prime number as it prefers to be called, the strange and delightful protagonist of the book. Emerging from a glacier. The mountain is the shelter where he, the goat bionics and Ettore, the adoptive father, repair in time of danger. And the mountain is where dies Matilda – the "mother" – exit winner in his fight for the preservation of man. At a retreat of ice at the end of the circle ".

We are honored by this award and particularly happy to honor our time Mario Rigoni Stern.
Mario was a friend and a human, moral and cultural landmark, and is still a source of constant inspiration. The mountain in our book we tell with trepidation to its fate, threatened by climate change and waste, obnoxious, and the instability produced by certain uses with wonder at her beauty and enduring, is the one who taught us to love and obey, who has taught everyone to love and respect. And also the living heart of the story that we brought on stage and on the printed page, the place where Prime comes into the world and where to find shelter, an opportunity and a message that apply to everyone, just like Mario Rigoni Stern had said with clear words deep, unforgettable.
