Asiago and its Plateau boast an enviable skiing area with more than 20 ski resorts, more than 80 km of ski runs for alpine skiing (downhill), with 43 lifts and more than 500 km of groomed trails for Nordic skiing (cross country skiing). It isn't a coincidence if Asiago is considered the capital of cross contry skiing. 
The Plateau has also several ski schools with experienced teachers of all disciplines, equipment rental facilities, restaurants, mountain huts and cabins for a warm relaxing break from skiing. 
Running across the slopes, set among dense forests of fir trees, you feel a sense of harmony with nature, while the eyes look at landscapes of indescribable beauty. 
Among the other winter sports we can include snowboarding, telemark, ice skating, snowshoeing, luge and bobsleigh.
