Asiago Hockey 1935 enters the ICE Hockey League!

The Migross Supermarkets Asiago Hockey with immense satisfaction announces that it has been accepted into the win2day ICE Hockey League.

The Assembly of the transnational league has today approved the entry of the Giallorosso club starting from the 2022/2023 season. The Stellata company will thus be the 14th team at the starting line-up, the third Italian team to participate in the championship after Bolzano and Val Pusteria.

The teams participating in the championship are: EC Red Bull Salzburg, EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV (Villach), Hydro Fehervar AV 19, spusu Vienna Capitals, HC Pustertal Wölfe, HK SZ Olimpija (Ljubljana), EC-KAC (Klagenfurt), HCB Südtirol Alperia (Bolzano), Moser Medical Graz99ers, HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie, Steinbach Black Wings Linz, Bratislava Capitals and Pioneers Voralberg.

Statements of joy are those spoken by the management of Asiago Hockey, directly from Salzburg president  Piercarlo Mantovani expressed himself as follows:

"The AsiagoHockey 1935 today has seen rewarded a long work, a long journey, which lasted many years, cost many efforts and many sacrifices, but there were also many convictions. For us a new era begins, a new era. We go back to the great hockey, this championship gives everyone enormous possibilities, not only with regard to hockey. It will be an opportunity to see the stadium again, to see great players again, to live a great passion that we all have in our hearts and that we can now enjoy to the fullest."

While these are the words of DS Renato Tessari:

"Huge satisfaction, for years we have been thinking about this step and I believe that we have entered at the right time. It will be a difficult challenge, there will be a lot of work to do, but for Asiago and for the whole movement of the Plateau it is a great achievement, which goes beyond the hockey factor. Comparing myself with the other great realities of the championship I think represents something very important for the Plateau. We are back to having a hockey of the highest level, but I think we will be ready to face this new challenge. This goal represents the culmination of a great journey made in recent years and at the same time it is a new starting point."
