Second place for sasso's Blonde Brothers at the Canale 5 talent show "The Winner Is", hosted by Gerry Scotti
"Living on music". A dream that can become reality for the Blonde Brothers, thanks to the € 50,000 won by the Asian duo during the final episode of the Canale 5 talent show hosted by Gerry Scotti, "The Winner Is".
In the first challenge of the final, the brothers Luca and Francesco Baù of Sasso di Asiago, known as Blonde Brothers, gave their best, clashing with famous songs and duets with important names in Italian music against Valentina Borchi.
After the performance of the singer from Prato, who performed the song "Un'emozione da poco", the Blonde Brothers brought their version of "Oh baby baby, it's a wild world" to the stage, for a partial result of 51 to 50.
A challenge "to the last vote", which then continued with the performances of the challengers in duet with two famous people of the Italian music scene: the first to perform was Valentina Borchi, who for her performance of "Due respiri" dueted with Chiara; immediately after, it was the time of the Blonde Brothers, who together with Alessio Bernabei sang their version of "We are infinite".
After the vote of the 101 jurors, Valentina and the Blonde Brothers were faced with the difficult decision to accept € 35,000 and conclude the course at that time or to continue with the race and find out the outcome of the vote. Both challengers, showing great courage and determination, decided to refuse the sum offered.
A decision that, despite the predictions of Alfonso Signorini, turned out to be the best for the duo of Sasso di Asiago: the two brothers with blond hair, in fact, managed to get the better of Valentina, with 54 votes against 47.
After the victory, the Blonde Brothers then faced Salvatore Lampitelli, winner of the first tip.
The first to perform was Lampitelli, with his version of "Take Me to Church"; the Asian brothers, on the other hand, relied on the well-known success of Alex Britti "Only once" to try to amaze the public and win the victory.
When it was time to play everything for everything, as the second song Lampitelli chose "Basta che mi vuoi", while the Blonde Brothers decided to focus on "Ho Hey", a piece with which they had already triumphed during the first episode of The Winner Is.
After the performances, Gerry Scotti started the voting and the singers were again faced with the decision to try to win the final victory or to accept € 50,000.
Exactly three seconds after the time expired, Luca and Francesco Baù decided to accept the sum of money, proving once again humble and determined to realize their dream. Also in this case the decision could only be better: Salvatore Lampinelli was decreed the winner of the 2017 edition of the musical talent, with a score of 79, while the Blonde Brothers won second place with 22 votes.
Even if they did not get the victory, the € 50,000 won and the second place at The Winner Is could be the right springboard for the Blonde Brothers, who in this way will be able to devote themselves totally to the career as musicians and try to break into the world in music. There are already many fans of the two "blond brothers" and admirers who have complimented them, even if their adventure at The Winner Is stopped a few steps from the victory.

WHO ARE THE BLONDE BROTHERS?
The Blonde Brothers are a musical duo formed by the brothers Luca and Francesco Baù, originally from Sasso di Asiago, a small village nestled in the mountains of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni.
Luca is 30 years old and in life teaches English at the Mario Rigoni Stern Institute in Asiago, while Francesco, 33, works as a tiler in the family business.
Since childhood, both have cultivated a great passion for music, starting to play guitar and write songs in Italian and English since the age of thirteen. A passion that the two brothers have continued to cultivate over the years, playing live in numerous clubs in veneto and conquering the public with their own songs and original covers of famous songs.
In 2012 they released their first album entitled "Lights and Shadows" and won the "Vociferando Festival" competition in Bologna, accessing the final stages of the Festival delle Arti, invited and awarded by the singer-songwriter Andrea Mingardi.
The album "Lights and Shadows" soon went around the world: in March 2013 the Blonde Brothers were in fact called to present their album in Melbourne, Australia, in a series of venues including the Veneto Club.
In September 2013, the Asian duo was noticed by the various producers, record companies and professionals in the music sector, participating in Area Sanremo with the song "A lei".
2014 was the year of the publication of the album "Brucia", of the participation in the Hey Joe (event in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna together with well-known groups in the Italian scene) and of the performances at the "Wave Music Awards" as a supporting group of some Big of Italian music such as Alexia, Moreno (winner of Amici 2013), Nathalie (winner of X-factor), Anonymous Italian, in Ostia, Fiuggi and in various cities of Lazio.
In September 2014 they also participated in the Festival delle Generazioni in Florence and playing in front of a jury of experts in the field, such as Mogol and Simone Cristicchi, they won a scholarship for the famous CET.
In January 2015 the Blonde Brothers collaborated with Alessandro Margozzi and Gloria Bonaveri for the release of the single entitled "Fly your mind", while in October they published in collaboration with The Dust Realm the soundtrack of "The Path", a musical journey through the photos of three great artists of nature photography: Augusto Rigoni, Silvano Fabris and Gianluca Stella.
In February 2016 the Baù brothers began to climb the charts with the single "Feeling Blue", which ranked in the top 20 positions in the Italian Itunes chart for two weeks.

Even the single "Flying like a bird", written by the Blonde Brothers and produced in an electro-country key at the "Up-Music" recording studios by Enrico Kikko Palmosi, reaches for 6 consecutive days the top 20 of the Italian Itunes chart, the first place as "best unpublished" to "Una voce per la ricerca" " and 1,000,000 views on You Tube, reaching the 78th place in the ranking of the most listened to songs on Youtube in the summer of 2016.
After reaching the semi-finals of the Castrocaro Festival, having played in various Swiss cities and on the stage of the "Big Bang Company Tour" with Francesca Michielin, Antonino Spadaccino, Elodie Di Patrizi and many other names of Italian song, on September 11, 2016 the Blonde Brothers won the "Festival delle Arti" in Bologna by Andrea Mingardi, in the Pop Rock Groups category, in addition to having closed, on September 15, the Festa dell'Unità in Bologna with Ivana Spagna and Andrea Mingardi, singing the songs: "Fly your mind" and "A lei".
