The record Alina Marazzi presented his film "we want roses too" Cinema Teatro Palladium Cesuna, October 27, 2016
Thursday, October 27, 2016, the Cinema Teatro "a. Palladio" by Cesuna, at 21.00 hours, there will be a very interesting cultural encounter with screening of the feature film "we want roses too" and meet the author Alina Marazzi.
The records will be present to tell the ins and outs of his work and curiosity and unpublished details about the film. At present it will be the journalist Enzo Pace.
The meeting will also be made more interesting thanks to the screening, early evening, the short film "Borders", a short 10-minute documentary on the great war, made by Director Alina Marazzi.
The event, organized by theAssociation Container that manages the multipurpose facility of Cesuna, is part of the annual "meet the authors".
WE WANT ROSES TOO
Anita, Teresa and Valentina have never met. Lived in Italy during the 1960s and 1970s, at different ages and in distant cities. But their true stories, reported in private diaries, are in an ideal family struggles and political continuity, testimony, personal and collective, to affirm autonomy, identity and rights in a patriarchal Country.
BORDERS
Wrapped in a Blizzard hooded men pulling heavy artillery pieces with thick ropes. Soldiers-children by face dug out and exhausted from a foxhole. The markings on the faces and on the flesh of these soldiers of the great war overlap scratches and film grain that, a century ago, has captured these and other scenes that surprise us for their painful beauty and who bring with them questions which is still difficult to answer.
ALINA MARAZZI
Alina Marazzi is a documentary filmmaker and film. His film formation takes place in London in the years 80. Then alternates the direction of tv documentaries, Assistant Director for the cinema, collaborating with some artistic realities (Studio Azzurro, plant), and involvement with other social realities (video workshops in jail).
Un'ora sola ti vorrei (2002) was his first documentary film copyright, forming the basis of his poetry, made entirely with family movies; later realizes Forever and mounting feature we want roses too, which both pursue the investigation of the feminine in the Center also of his fiction films, All about you with Charlotte Rampling.
In the video of opera dramaturgy contemporary 2014 realizes the dream of a thing with music by Mauro Montalbetti and directed by Marco Baliani, and the short Boundaries, combining archival footage of the great war to the poetic verses of Mariangela Gualtieri. Anna Piaggi, a visionary in fashion is his latest documentary work.
