DESTINATION: Monte Longara – Gallio – Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Are you ready for a dip in the past and to discover the secrets of the Mountain?
Then don't miss this guided fossil hike, a unique experience for young and old, paleontology enthusiasts and nature lovers!
What to expect:
- A journey through time... you will discover remains of animals and plants that populated the earth millions of years ago;
- the discovery of sedimentary rocks rich in fossils, formed when the Plateau was covered by a shallow sea;
- the interpretation of the landscape, a dive into geology to understand the evolution of the Plateau;
- immersion in nature... fir forests, pastures and rock towns will give you 360° views of the Alps.
An adventure for everyone: a route suitable for adults and children (+ 6 years)!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
🫰COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person. €10 for children under 15 years old.
