GOAL: Asiago - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Are you ready to take a step back in time and discover the secrets of the Asiago Plateau?
Join us for a guided fossil hunt! A unique experience for young and old to discover an area rich in history and natural beauty.
What to expect:
- A blast from the past: you will discover the remains of animals and plants that populated the Earth millions of years ago
- A geological treasure: you will walk among limestone rocks, such as the famous "red ammonite", a sedimentary rock rich in fossils
- A journey through time: you will learn how the landscape of the Plateau has changed over the course of geological eras
- An experience in Nature: you will immerse yourself in the beauty of the beech forests, alpine pastures and pastures of the Plateau
- An adventure for everyone: the route is easy and suitable for the whole family.
Reservations are required.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
🫰COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person. €10 for children under 15 years old.
🧭MEETING POINT: 9.30 a.m. in the Kaberlaba area (Asiago), precise information on the meeting point will be communicated to those booked the day before the event. We start on foot from the meeting point.
