META: the woods and pastures of Asiago - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Entering the woods we are enveloped by the voices of small birds such as that move from branch to branch in search of food or we can hear loud laughter, the sounds of woodpeckers fluttering in the woods.
Step by step, the blanket of snow also reveals the passage of many animals, from squirrels to deer.
Food scraps from particular migratory birds such as cruisers or our beloved forest keepers, squirrels also remind us how wonderful and, for some, tasty our trees are!
We stop to observe and listen to the animals that surround us to experience a morning of complete immersion in the wild world and discover the secret habits of mountain animals during this season. Experience a Mountain of Emotions with us on the trail of mountain animals!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route does not present any particular technical difficulties. The uphill elevation gain is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion or hot tea, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, sunglasses.
🫰COST: €20 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
🧭MEETING POINT: 9.00 am near Asiago.
Precise information on the meeting place with georeferenced position will be sent to those booked the day before the event. We start on foot from the meeting point.
