DESTINATION: - the woods and pastures of the Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
During this excursion, the nature guide will make you discover habits and curiosities about mountain wild animals : what do squirrels eat? Where do hares sleep? How do toads spend the winter? Which birds spend the whole year here with us and which ones migrate?
Let's find out together, step by step, observing the signs of presence that animals leave around us!
You only have to stop and observe (not only with your eyes!) to marvel at the life that populates our mountains. If you let yourself be guided in the refinement of your senses, you will discover a newfound connection with the Nature that surrounds you that will excite you!
Reservations are mandatory.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route will be established a few days before the event based on weather conditions and the presence of ice/snow.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, hat, gloves.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
MEETING POINT: 9.30 a.m. near Asiago. Precise information on the meeting place will be communicated to those booked the day before the event.
