DESTINATION: - the woods and pastures of the Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
During this excursion we will stop to observe and listen to the animals that surround us to experience a morning of complete immersion in Nature.
Step by step, if we keep our eyes peeled, we will discover the preyed anthills, footprints and tracks of those who go slowly and those who are in a hurry, feathers and feathers of migratory birds, food scraps such as gnawed pine cones and well-cleaned bones... So many signs of presence that animals leave every day, even in winter, and that tell us about their many daily activities.
Expert nature guides of these mountains will lead you to the discovery of wild nature , telling you many curiosities about its inhabitants and teaching you to interpret the signs of their presence to find out who could be next to us even when we think we are alone in the woods!
Reservations are mandatory.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route will be established a few days before the event based on weather conditions and the presence of ice/snow.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, hat, gloves.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
MEETING POINT: 9.30 a.m. near Asiago. Precise information on the meeting place will be communicated to those booked the day before the event. We will start on foot from the meeting point.
