Saturday 26 April from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm
Destination: Monte Interrotto - Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities
This route, crossing meadows and fir and beech woods, leads us along ancient communication routes between the inhabited centers and the high mountains, today little frequented by man. Step by step we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of spring and discover the wonders of nature that surrounds us: flowers of the most varied shapes and colors, signs of the presence of animals such as roe deer, deer and foxes...
Arrived at the Interrupted Fort, there will be no shortage of opportunities to tell some anecdotes and learn more about the evolution of the landscape of the Plateau while we comfortably eat a packed lunch.
The place tells the story of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities through the traces left by the Great War and beyond. The Italian fort, built well before the outbreak of the Great War, was used as a defensive military work by the Austrians, dominating the central basin of the plateau.
At the end of the visit to the fortification we continue with a simple walk, during which we will have the opportunity to see exciting views of Asiago from Mount Rasta .
