GOAL: Selvart, Mezzaselva di Roana  – Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Event co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva and the Municipal Administration of Roana.

In an evocative atmosphere that recalls nights of other times, you will  make your way with the dim light of the lanterns. 

We will thus  relive the experience of past people: herdsmen, soldiers, smugglers or simple lovers who had to move at night on Mount Erio to descend towards Mezzaselva, without the comforts of today that we often take for granted. 

Crossing a wonderful mountain forest where art and nature meet thanks to the installations of the Selvart Park , we will arrive at a panoramic point and admire a sparkling panorama.

The return to the woods will reserve us a unique experience, discovering legends and traditions of the Cimbrian culture, and the glow of the candles will lead us into a world of magic.

Reservations are required. 

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the activity, a small snack such as dried fruit. Long trousers highly recommended. Layered clothing is recommended, with a heavy layer. 

🫰COST: €5 for the guided excursion per person. Free for residents in the municipality of Roana.

🧭MEETING POINT:  8.30 pm in front of the office of the pro loco of Mezzaselva

From there it is necessary to travel by car, with your own vehicle of about 7 minutes on an asphalt road.
