Immerse yourself in an enchanted atmosphere and discover the magic of winter with a candlelit night snowshoe hike in the Vezzena Plain. Accompanied by the dim light of candles, retrace the paths of herdsmen, soldiers and smugglers and discover the Cimbrian culture.
What to expect:
- Evening snowshoeing from dusk to moon: a unique sensory experience: you will hear the sounds of nature more intensely and will allow you to experience the mountains in a completely new way.
- Magical atmosphere: the light of the lanterns creates an evocative atmosphere among the vast snowy scenery rich in history of the Vezzena Plain, a borderland today between Veneto and Trentino.
- Stars and wishes: you will discover scientific and mythological curiosities about the celestial vault
- At the end it is possible to stop for dinner. The typical menu at Chalet Spitz includes
- local cold cuts and cheeses
- Speck dumplings with butter and sage
- Water, wine and coffee included
Reservations are required.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths, and dirt roads. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves.
You will be invited during the excursion not to use light sources other than lanterns unless necessary.
🫰COST: €25 for the guided snowshoe hike by candlelight per person, €15 for children under 15 and season ticket holders. Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
🍽 COST OF THE DINNER: € 25 per person for the typical dinner at Chalet Spitz to be paid directly on site, variations to the menu indicated above are not to be considered included in the price.
