On Saturday 7 December 2024, after the evocative inauguration of the Christmas Markets in the morning, Gallio continues with one of the most exciting moments of the Christmas holidays: the lighting of the Christmas Tree, an event full of magic that will involve the whole community.

The appointment is set for 17.00, when a colorful parade of elementary and middle school children, together with the sports associations of the Plateau, will start from the roundabout at the beginning of the town to reach Piazza Italia. Accompanying them will be Santa Claus and the Attilio Boscato Band, which will fill the air with festive notes and joy.

Once in the square, after the greeting of the Mayor and the Councilor for Tourism, the lighting of the Christmas Tree will take place, a symbol of hope and sharing for the entire community. A wave of lights will illuminate the tree and its glow will project an enchanted atmosphere over the entire square, illuminating the smiling faces of those present in an unforgettable setting of celebration and community.

Afterwards, in the nearby Piazza Giardini, to make the evening even more special, the Alpini Group of Gallio will offer chestnuts accompanied by hot chocolate. A moment of conviviality perfect for warming up and enjoying the Christmas magic together with friends and family.

The event represents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the spirit of Christmas, among twinkling lights, music and traditions that make Gallio, and the Asiago Plateau, an unmissable destination during the holidays.

And while the evening will end amidst the scents and sounds of the holiday, the Christmas markets of Gallio will continue to liven up the festivities on the Plateau until January 6, 2025, with their rich and varied offer.
