On Monday, August 26th , the Biosphaera Guides organize an excursion to discover the Altaburg and the Altar Knotto, places full of history and mystery.
The meeting will be at 9.00 a.m. at the uncovered parking lot near the Church of S. Gertrude in Rotzo, where some cars will be left (by car sharing), before moving to the Curva del Tellale from which the walk will start.
In a short time you will enter the woods, where you will admire the incredible surrounding nature and begin to enter the ancient legends.

Once in the Altaburg, you will discover the origin of the name of this place and the story it hides, before moving to the nearby Altar Knotto, an ancient pagan altar today perhaps the deposit of the treasures of the dwarves.
On the way back you will also visit the Alta Kugela, an ancient shelter, useful for men and women of different generations.
The excursion will be led by an Environmental, Hiking and Historical Guide.
