META: districts of Mezzaselva di Roana – Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Event co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva and the Municipal Administration of Roana.
As the population grew in the plateau, new districts were created with deforestation, characterized not only by more or less colorful names of some family, but also by precise identifications to indicate a certain profession present in the district.
Around the old Toballe, we find on the maps the localities of Trujo, Schneidar, Tökkalar, Pajazzen...
Walking along the paths and roads of the town, we will touch these often forgotten places, but capable of giving us multiple emotions, in particular for the breathtaking view of the Little Dolomites and the rest of the Plateau.
An unmissable experience for lovers of the mountains, history and traditions!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop, suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The uphill difference in height is less than 2o0 m, there are no exposed sections and it does not present any particular technical difficulties.
🎒TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat. LONG PANTS RECOMMENDED!
🫰COST: €5 for the guided excursion per person. Free for residents in the municipality of Roana.
🧭MEETING POINT: 5.30 p.m. in front of the office of the pro loco of Mezzaselva
