GOAL: Roana – Asiago Plateau and Seven Municipalities (VI)
Event co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Roana and the Municipal Administration of Roana.
Discover Roana from a new perspective with this guided hike.
What to expect:
- An excursion along ancient migratory routes of men and animals and among paths opened only recently by logging actions.
- Panoramic paths that allow you to admire Roana and Valdassa in all their beauty and to understand the evolution of the landscape from the Cimbri to the present day, passing through the signs of the presence of the Great War.
- Houses, vegetable gardens, meadows and woods: immerse yourself in the local culture by discovering the deep connection of mountain people with the wild. Stories of hunting, alimurgia, heroic crops and legendary crossings...
Reservations are mandatory.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop, suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The difference in height is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections and it does not present particular technical difficulties.
🎒WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
🫰COST: €5 for the guided excursion per person. Free for residents in the municipality of Roana.
