DESTINATION: Canove di Roana – Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Event co-financed and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Canove and the Municipal Administration of Roana.
A guided excursion to discover the ancient districts of Canove and the Cimbrian culture.
What to expect:
- A journey through history: names of places, trades and habits of the past, a key to understanding today's mountain life.
- Immersion in Nature: meadows, pastures, beech and fir woods just a few steps from the center of Canove
- Curiosities and anecdotes about Cimbrian culture: traditions and tales of authentic mountain life.
- Unique emotions: an immersive experience in history and nature.
An excursion for lovers of history, nature and traditions!
Reservations are mandatory.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop, suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The difference in height is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections and it does not present particular technical difficulties.
🎒WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
🫰COST: €5 for the guided excursion per person. Free for residents in the municipality of Roana.
