META: the pastures and woods of Asiago - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
We cross pastures and mountain woods bringing our attention to the flowers and herbs that characterize the biodiversity of this area.
Ancient knowledge and ancient Cimbrian traditions will accompany our explorations: from alimurgia, the art of feeding on wild plants, to popular farmocopeia to benefit from the properties of herbs and flowers.
Scents and colors, melodies and pleasant conversations will awaken our senses in this spring atmosphere that can give a mountain of emotions!
At the end it is possible to conclude the experience by satisfying our palate with a themed dinner with friends at the Campomezzavia Restaurant. The herb menu will be as follows:
- Appetizer: Bruschetta with wild garlic and single portion of savory pie with dandelion and ricotta
- First course: Risotto with Bruscandoli and Pennarone
- Second course: Rabbit roll stuffed with dandelion eggs and ham served with fried potatoes
- Water, wine and coffee included
Reservations are required.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties, there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads.
The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m.
🎒TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, possible notebook to take notes and keep some plants.
🫰COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
🍽 COST OF THE DINNER: € 25 per person for the typical dinner at the Campomezzavia Hotel Restaurant for the above menu to be paid directly at the Restaurant.
It is not possible to book dinner only here.
