For the cultural and literary review Aperitivo con l'Autore by Brazzale, on Saturday 2 August 2025 in Asiago, on the central stage in Piazza Carli, Mario Giordano will be a guest with his latest book "Dynasty – From the Agnellis to the Del Vecchio, from the Benettons to the De Benedetti: The collapse of the dynasties of the powerful", published by Rizzoli.

In a story that is both documented and corrosive, Giordano analyzes the decadence of the great entrepreneurial families that led the Italian economy in the post-war period. The stories of the Agnellis, the Benetton, the De Benedetti and the Del Vecchio – once symbols of success and continuity – are now transformed into stories of fierce quarrels, disputed inheritances, legal wars and squandered assets.
There were the Lawyer, the Engineer, the Farmer: charismatic figures at the helm of family empires that marked Italy during the boom. Today, they remain heirs in struggle, cross-accusations and broken families, while companies falter between budgets in the red and reputations in free fall. The author tells, with his biting style, a real "Italian Dynasty", made up of secret wills, flaunted illnesses, suspicious escapes and internal feuds that do not spare even the big names.
Admission to the event is free, subject to availability.
In case of bad weather, the venue of the meeting may be subject to change. For updates and information, you can contact the bookshop through the appropriate buttons at the bottom of the page.

Mario Giordano is an Italian journalist, television presenter and essayist , born in Alessandria on June 19, 1966.
