The cultural and literary review Aperitivo con l'Autore by Brazzale continues, with an appointment not to be missed: Wednesday 6 August 2025, at 5:30 pm, in the evocative Piazzetta San Rocco di Asiago, Roberta Recchia presents her new novel "Io che ti ho voglio così bene", published by Rizzoli.
After the great success of All Life That Remains – over 80,000 copies sold in Italy and an extraordinary reception also abroad – the author returns with an intense and poignant story, which deals with the themes of mourning, inner growth and self-search.

At the center of the novel is Luca, a boy little more than a child, who lives his summers on the Roman coast. It is here that a carefree and radiant girl becomes his first dream of love. But a sudden tragedy turns everything upside down: the girl dies, and with her the known universe collapses. Luca is torn from his daily life and moves to Northern Italy, as a guest of his uncles and cousins. Far from everything that was home, he finds himself forced to deal with pain and rebuild himself, one fragment at a time.
With an intimate and profound writing, Roberta Recchia leads us through a delicate coming-of-age novel, telling the loss of innocence and the slow rebirth possible only through love, dedication and care for others.
The appointment will be an opportunity to get to know one of the most sensitive voices in contemporary fiction up close.
Admission to the event is free, subject to availability.
