On Friday 8 August 2025, starting at 5:30 pm, Piazza Italia in Gallio will be transformed into the meeting point for all lovers of Venetian cuisine with the event "Baccalà in Piazza". 

This evening is organized by the Alpini Group of Gallio and will see the extraordinary participation of Giovanni Pozzan, renowned chef of the Antica Trattoria Due Spade in Sandrigo, known for his mastery in the preparation of cod. The participation of the lawyer Claudio Pasqualin, member of the Confraternity of the Cod, is also expected.

The event will include a cooking demonstration, followed by a free tasting. 

Don't miss the opportunity to discover the secrets of cod and taste one of the most representative dishes of Venetian cuisine, in the festive and welcoming atmosphere of Gallio. A culinary experience that celebrates tradition and taste, ideal for a summer evening of good food and good company.
