DESTINATION: Monte Verena - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities
After a warm welcome aperitif we begin the climb to the top of Monte Verena.
Snowshoeing we cross pastures and mountain forests. where the night atmosphere, the snow and the stories of the Nature Guide will make the experience unforgettable!
From the top we will enjoy a panorama that ranges from the Po Valley to the Dolomites, but above all we will have the opportunity to enjoy an exciting starry sky, to which we can entrust our New Year's resolutions and watch the New Year's Eve fireworks displays in the distance!
Once at the summit, the warmth of the Forte Verena Refuge awaits us!
Here we can enjoy an excellent New Year's Eve dinner that includes:
Poached egg on a parmesan basket, crispy bacon and truffle cream
Cream of lentils with diced cotechino
Tagliolini gratin with late radicchio on asiago cheese fondue
Beef fillet with dried fruit and chestnut-scented mashed potatoes
Alpine pie
- Wine, water, coffee
- Pandoro and prosecco for the midnight toast!
After the New Year's Eve dinner and celebrations, let's go back to the cars with a pleasant snowshoe descent!
Booking is mandatory and will be valid only after payment of the deposit (€ 100 per person) other typical indications of other excursions do not apply.
ANY FOOD INTOLERANCES/ALLERGIES MUST BE REPORTED ON NOTES AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.
📈 DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 5 on a scale of 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging).
The route is circular and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads and has an uphill difference in height of about 500 m.
The route may be subject to changes due to the presence-absence of ice/snow.
🎒TO TAKE WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion or hot tea, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, a headlamp (preferably with a fixed red light). For dinner it is possible to change in the spaces of the refuge.
It is recommended to bring an extra layer of clothing for the descent.

We start on foot from the meeting place.
🫰COST: € 160 per person including aperitif, guided snowshoeing and snowshoe rental, dinner at the Verena Refuge, snowshoeing on the way back. The deposit to be paid at the time of booking is €100 per person.
In !️ case of severe weather the excursion may be cancelled.
In the event that there is no snow, there will be an excursion on foot without the aid of snowshoes (the price will not change).
