On Monday, November 4 , 2024, National Unity and Armed Forces Day, the City of Asiago will celebrate the 106th anniversary of the Italian victory in the First World War with the traditional commemoration in memory and suffrage of the fallen of all wars.

The anniversary of November 4 is an important moment in our history and our civilization, an opportunity to express the highest feeling of gratitude for our Armed Forces who, with sacrifice and a sense of duty, work for freedom and peace, as well as to dedicate a thought  to those who sacrificed themselves for the ideals of national unity, of independence and democracy.

Here is the program of the ceremony:

• 10:00 a.m. - Meeting of the participants at the Loggia dei Caduti of the Town Hall
• 10:15 a.m. - Official deposition of a laurel wreath at the Loggia dei Caduti and speech by the Mayor
• 10:30 a.m. - Start of the procession towards the Cathedral of San Matteo for the celebration of the Holy Mass in memory and suffrage of the Fallen of all wars; with the participation of the Civic Administration, Military Representatives, Law Enforcement Agencies, Combat Associations and Schools.
  
  At the end of the celebration , performance of the "Vincenzo Bellini" Band Corps of Povolaro in Piazza Duomo.
