On Tuesday, July 16 , 2024, an event of profound spiritual and community relevance will be held. To commemorate the 36th anniversary of the historic visit of Pope John Paul II to the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities, which took place on July 16, 1988, a Holy Mass will be celebrated at the memorial stone dedicated to the Holy Father on Mount Longara, in Gallio.
This anniversary offers a valuable opportunity for residents and visitors to the Plateau to join in prayer and reflection, strengthening community bonds and renewing commitment to the values of peace promoted by Pope John Paul II.
The celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m.
In the event that weather conditions do not allow the Mass to be held outdoors, the celebration will move to the parish church of Gallio.
The event is aimed at all those who wish to pay homage to the legacy of Pope Wojtyla and spend a moment of spirituality immersed in the breathtaking nature of the Asiago Plateau.
