Guided Excursion "CENGIO MONTE: Landscapes at Sunset" with Plateau Guides 7 Municipalities and Asiago - Mountain Professionals
The trail develops along the southwest side of the mountain massif, carved out for long stretches in the living rock and in some places using tunnels.
The trail develops for about 4 km, allowing you to reach an altitude of 1347 meters of the summit but the difference of 150 meters seems not to be felt, as the numerous points of historical interest (trenches, tunnels, artillery stations, in addition to the famous jump of the grenadiers) allow pleasant stops and in case of hot days the passages in the gallery allow you to cool off.
The view of the final part of the Valley of the Astico and the plain behind it that you enjoy all the way takes your breath away.
It is necessary to be equipped with a flashlight given the numerous passages inside tunnels.
EXCURSION SCHEDULE:
Departure: 4 p.m. at the Old Station Bar at the entrance to the Asiago Ice Stadium Square
Duration of the excursion:3.5 hours including the guided tour
