GOAL: Piana di Vezzena - Alpe Cimbra
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Vezzena Plain with an easy snowshoe hike to discover an area rich in history and traditions. You will explore mountain huts, pastures and scenic trails, discovering the traces of the Great War and the fascinating Cimbrian culture.
What to expect:
- Panoramic snowshoeing: admire the vast scenery of the Vezzena Plain.
- History: discover how this territory was at the center of bitter disputes and follow the traces of the Great War on the Trentino front.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths, and dirt roads. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion or hot tea, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, sunglasses.
🫰COST: €20 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
