GOAL: Piana di Vezzena - Alpe Cimbra
Immerse yourself in a unique winter adventure!
This guided excursion will take you to discover the Vezzena Plain, an area rich in history, nature and Cimbrian traditions.
What to expect:
- Panoramic snowshoeing: cross snowy pastures and enchanted woods while admiring breathtaking views.
- History: The Vezzena Plain has long been disputed between Italy and Austria-Hungary due to its strategic location and rich pastures. There are many places that tell the stories of this turbulent past.
- Cimbrian culture: immerse yourself in the traditions of this community and discover the peculiarities of this language.
- Nature: Admire the fauna and flora typical of the alpine environment.
Experience a Mountain of Emotions and spend a pleasant Sunday in the snow with friends!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths, and dirt roads. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion or hot tea, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, sunglasses.
🫰COST: €20 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
