Destination: Plateau of the Seven Municipalities

Immerse yourself in an enchanted atmosphere with a candlelit night snowshoe hike in the heart of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities. Let yourself be guided by the dim light of the lanterns and discover the magic of the snowy forest under the stars.

What to expect:

• Enchanted forest: explore a dreamy winter landscape, illuminated only by the dim light of lanterns that allows you to savor the surrounding landscape slowly and magically.
• Stories and legends: discover the stories and legends related to these places, retracing the footsteps of those who lived there in the past from prehistoric times to today.
• Stars and desires: allow yourself to de-siderare or to 'question the stars' and entrust your thoughts to them and to discover scientific and mythological curiosities about the celestial vault of winter that surrounds you.

📈DIFFICULTY:  we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a loop, does not present any particular technical difficulties and there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The uphill elevation gain is less than 300 m.

🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves.

You will be invited during the excursion not to use light sources other than lanterns unless necessary.

🫰COST: €25 for the guided snowshoe hike by candlelight per person, €15 for children under 15 and season ticket holders. 

Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person. 

Participants will be offered a taste of local products. 

In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).

🧭MEETING POINT:  5.30  p.m. in the upper area of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.

Precise information on the meeting place with georeferenced position will be sent to those booked the day before the event based on the snow present.
