On Sunday 5 January , the Biosphaera Guides organize a panoramic snowshoe hike in Val Formica.
Starting from the Val Formica Refuge, crossing the snow-covered meadows, head in the direction of Porta Manazzo, a panoramic point over the Valsugana below.
The trail runs along the former state borders with the Habsburg Empire, which have changed several times throughout history. Along the way, we will be accompanied by readings and stories about snow and winter.
We will then cross larch forests, before returning to the starting point.
The excursion will be led by Luca Grotto, Environmental Hiking Guide and historian.
In case of no snow, the excursion will still take place, without the use of snowshoes.
