Immerse yourself in the universe of Mario Rigoni Stern with a guided snowshoe hike through the evocative landscapes of the Asiago Plateau. Admire the snowy woods and discover hidden corners of the Plateau, places that inspired one of the greatest Italian writers.
With this excursion we want to involve all the senses starting from hearing: we read a few passages, smell the air of the woods, observe the signs of the presence of wildlife, remember mountain traditions ... let's live together a Mountain of Emotions in contact with nature!
Reservations are required.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route does not present any particular technical difficulties. The uphill elevation gain is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence - absence of ice / snow but the difficulty will remain unchanged.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion or hot tea, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, sunglasses.
🫰COST: €20 for the guided snowshoe hike per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles rental: €10 per person.
Participants will be offered a taste of local products.
In the event that there is not enough snow, we will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes, there will be no price changes (rental excluded).
🧭MEETING POINT: 9.00 am near Asiago.
Precise information on the meeting place with georeferenced position will be sent to those booked the day before the event. We start on foot from the meeting point.
