Goal Cima Larici - Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable excursion in the Larici - Val Formica area, a real scenic jewel. Here, the lush alpine pastures are harmoniously intertwined with the larch and fir forests, creating postcard scenery that enchants at every step.

As the altitude increases, the dense vegetation gives way to bare rock and typical high-altitude shrubs, such as the balsamic mountain pine. 

This area, still wild and not very frequented, is a sanctuary for rare and majestic species such as the capercaillie, an authentic glacial wreck that testifies to the ancient history of these places.

Continuing the climb, a spectacular 360-degree panorama opens up in front of you. Of the imposing Monte Verena, the verdant Alpe Cimbra and the entire Alpine chain, with the majestic peaks of the Lagorai and the iconic Dolomites.

This high-altitude experience will give you intense emotions and thanks to the immersion in an environment of rare beauty.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 4 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads crossing the upper area of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities. The uphill elevation gain is less than 330 m, there are partially exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 L), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses.

🫰COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
