GOAL: Cima Portule - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Cima Portule, with its 2,308 meters, is the second highest peak of the Asiago Plateau and offers breathtaking views ranging from the Dolomites to Monte Grappa, up to the Venetian plain. A guided hike on this natural balcony is an unforgettable experience for lovers of nature, history and high altitude!.
What to expect:
- A challenging but rewarding ascent that offers spectacular views at every step.
- Above the tree line, you'll discover the peculiarities of alpine flora and fauna, including chamois, eagles, and several species of wildflowers.
- A journey through history: Cima Portule played an important role during the First World War, as evidenced by the numerous trenches and fortifications still visible. With Asiago Guide you will discover the events that took place on this mountain, one of the most loved by the locals!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 5 on a scale of 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads crossing the upper area of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities. The difference in height is less than 700 m, there are partially exposed sections.
🎒WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, PACKED LUNCH, possible blanket to sit on. Trekking poles are recommended.
🫰COST: 20€ for the guided excursion per person. €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
