Wednesday 27 December 2023, 17.30 – 20.30
DESTINATION: Piana di Marcesina - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
The Plain of Marcesina , covered by a blanket of snow and illuminated by the moonlight, appears to us as a space without time and boundary. An enchanted place where nature envelops us at 360 degrees and our gaze can range from the crystals under our feet to the profiles of the Alps and Dolomites in the distance to reach the sky.
A local nature guide will lead you to this scenery to make you appreciate even more, through anecdotes and scientific and cultural curiosities, the landscape that surrounds you and the queen of the evening: the Full Moon.
The full moon in December is known as the full moon of long nights or the cold moon due to the fact that it falls close to the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, ancient traditions to be discovered envelop this time of year!
