Pianista Massimiliano Motterle in concertoConcert by pianist Max Motterle July 11 to Roana. plays Liszt, Brahms, Chopin and Schumann

It begins: the concert season, the Literature and art & Music Culture Association begins Thursday, July 11 at 21.00 hours at the Santa Giustina di Roana , with the inaugural concert that features the pianist Max Motterle.

A long-awaited returnto Motterle, presenting a virtuoso program, and especially meaningful at the same time due: pianist par excellence, will begin with Funeraillès, a masterpiece of maturity by f. Liszt.  Divided into 4 sections, a dark and gloomy adagio movement leads to the theme of the next piece: the funeral which will be transformed into an expressive melody that conveys a sort of sad sense of hope. Then follows a heroic, powerful gear, which increases in intensity until it reaches a fortissimo peak, to arrive at the conclusion, in which Liszt takes up the themes above, up to an exciting finale.
Followed, Brahms, Variations on an original theme op. 21: the composer is expressed with the widest freedom of invention, allowing his imagination to range freely and creating, in the succession of variations, a unitary whole, culminating in afinal mpio which also has the meaning of an Act of liberation.

Can't miss Chopin, which Motterle is masterful interpreter (his discography, including some mainstays of pianistic literature such as 4 Ballades by Chopin): will run 3 Mazurkas of Chopin who wrote 60 throughout the ' arc of his activity as a composer, with its elements of Polish peasant music in his training as a musician.

To follow, by r. Schumann, Papillon, op. 2: inspired by apoetic image taken from the book "Flegeljahre (Years scapigliati), by Jean Paul: the composer describes a moment in which the protagonists find themselves, get lost, run in the unreal atmosphere of a masked ball on the theme of butterflies.
