The volunteer organizations, LILT (Italian League for the Fight against Cancer) and Vola, operating in the oncology area, in collaboration with the Urology department of the Hospital of Bassano del Grappa - Asiago invite you to the conference: "Female and male cancers, prevention, treatment and volunteering".
The event will take place on Friday, May 17 , 2024, at 8:30 p.m., at the Regency Hall of the Unione Montana Spettabile Regency of the Seven Municipalities in Asiago.
This initiative will see the participation of distinguished speakers, such as:
- Dr. Monica Gios, Councillor for Social Policies of the Municipality of Asiago;
- Dr. Giuseppe Piasentin, head of Primary Care of the Socio-Health District 1 - Asiago office;
- Dr. Bernardino De Concilio and dr. Giovanni Costa of the U.O.C. Urology ULSS7 Pedemontana Hospital of Bassano del Grappa;
- Dr. Rolando Negrin, president of LILT Vicenza;
- Dr. Giuseppe Buda, president of Vola and moderator of the conference.
The initiative aims to provide up-to-date information on cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, with a particular focus on the contribution of volunteering in supporting cancer patients.
It will be a unique opportunity to learn directly from experts in the field and to understand the importance of prevention and community support in the fight against cancer.
The event is open to the public and free of charge.
