On the evening of Friday, December 29, 2023, at 8:45 p.m., the stand-up comedy show "CONTRADICTIONS", written and performed by Paolo Bufalino, will be staged at the Cineghel hall in Gallio.

In his tragicomic monologue, the actor takes us on a narrative journey through the life of a Milanese who hates to celebrate his birthday. An existential journey from his first birthdays in Sicily as a child, to those as an adult in Milan.

The play takes an unexpected turn when the protagonist crosses paths with an irremediable partygirl, an encounter that triggers the greatest contradiction: the discovery of life as a couple. 

This dynamic brings to the stage the contrast between the desire for solitude and the unconscious search for companionship, a dichotomy that hilariously and poignantly defines the course of his existence.

"CONTRADICTIONS" promises to be an intense theatrical experience, full of humor and pathos, which invites viewers to reflect on their own personal contradictions and the ironies of life.
