GOAL: Piana di Marcesina - Valmaron - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Snowshoeing, our steps through the plain of Marcesina will be guided by the moonlight that creates a suggestive atmosphere around us.
In the dark mountain sky, our view can range from the profiles of the surrounding mountains to the sky. The guide will entertain you with many scientific and mythological curiosities about the winter sky that always makes us dream.
Arrived at the Rifugio Barricata a convivial dinner awaits us with a menu :
Vegetable minestrone or Bigoli with ragu or tomato.
Veal breast, baked potatoes and stewed beans.
Sweet tastings.
wine, water and coffee included.
The return will be made by snowmobile that will take us to the starting point.
Reservations are required.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads.
The difference in height uphill is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, front battery possibly with fixed red light.
ATTENTION: It is advisable to dress in layers and to have warm clothing, also recommended a cover, for the return to snowmobile.
COST: € 55 for guided snowshoeing, dinner at the Barricata Refuge and return by snowmobile.
Possible snowshoes and poles rental: € 10 per person.
In case there is not enough snow it will be a guided walk.
Indicate at the time of booking any intolerances / allergies.
MEETING PLACE: 3.30 pm at the Valmaron Refuge car park, Enego (VI)
It starts on foot from the meeting place.
