Destination: Piana di Marcesina - Rifugio Barricata
We are located in the Piana di Marcesina, to enjoy the wonderful beauty of Italy's little Finland through a snowmobile tour.
Once at the Barricata Refuge, after the assignment of the rooms and a chat in front of the fireplace, we set off on a guided snowshoe hike through the warm colors of the sunset to experience the nature and history of these places up close, discovering the evolution of the landscape of the Piana di Marcesina.
As evening falls, the profiles of the mountains and the snow-covered plain change their appearance, tinged with a moonlight that will give you a surreal atmosphere. The nature guide, a passionate amateur astronomer, will not miss the opportunity to tell you many scientific and mythological curiosities about the queen of the evening: The Full Moon.
On the way back, a typical dinner awaits us at the Barricata Refuge with a choice of menu and convivial moments to spend an evening with the warmth of the fireplace.
After an overnight stay in a mountain hut and a mountain breakfast, the return will take place with guided snowshoeing following the tracks of mountain animals and crossing fir woods with extraordinary balsamic notes to enjoy the well-being that only nature can offer.

Reservations are mandatory and will be considered valid only after the payment of the deposit of €40.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties and there are no exposed sections.
It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads.
The elevation gain is less than 250 m on both the first and second days.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water and/or hot tea for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, headlamp possibly with fixed red light, everything you need to sleep in the refuge.
COST: 160€ for guided snowshoeing per person, dinner, overnight stay and breakfast at the Barricata Refuge, snowmobile tour. EVENTUAL SNOWSHOE RENTAL TO BE REQUESTED ON NOTES at the time of booking included in the price.
MEETING POINT: at 2.30 p.m. at the parking lot of the Valmaron Refuge, Enego (VI)
