Destination: the pastures of the Campomezzavia mountain huts
Not only in spring, each season has its own herbs, scents, colors, harvests and traditions.
While summer is ending and the grazing cows are starting to return to the stables, the pastures still have some small treasures to offer to those who stop to observe.
Even in the woods many delicacies and useful essences are hidden! Lichens and fungi, seeds and fruits... used today as then in popular pharmacopoeia and culinary tradition!
To conclude the experience, do not miss lunch at the Campomezzavia restaurant with the following typical menu:
- bruschetta with Asiago cream flavored with spruce,
- Tempura sage pratensis and sweet and sour dandelion heart
- Pasticcio with nettle and Asiago d.o.p.
- Pork tenderloin in Bruscandoli sauce with fried potatoes
- Water, wine and coffee included

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate (long trousers are strongly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, any notebook for notes.
🫰COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person. €10 for season ticket holders and children under 15 years of age.
LUNCH COST: € 25 per person for the above menu to be paid directly at the Campomezzavia restaurant.
