On Friday 22 August 2025, the day of Ferragosto, a relaxing donkey's walk excursion is scheduled around Treschè Conca, on the Asiago Seven Municipalities Plateau. 

A perfect opportunity to spend the holiday surrounded by nature, with the whole family, accompanied by Donkeys on the Way.

The route, almost entirely on dirt roads and paths in the woods, leads to a suggestive panoramic clearing from which a spectacular 360-degree view opens up: the gaze sweeps over the Val d'Astico, the nearby Tonezza del Cimone Plateau, the Becco di Filadonna, the Trentino mountains and a large portion of the Asiago Plateau.

During the excursion, which will start at 9:30 am, children will be able to take turns riding donkeys in the sections where the route allows it, while adults will have the opportunity to lead them by the halter.

The slow pace and the company of donkeys make the excursion ideal for those who want to reconnect with nature and discover the area in an authentic and sustainable way.

DEPARTURE: 9.30 a.m. from the Fountain of the Elves (near the Church of Treschè Conca)

ELEVATION GAIN: 200 m

LENGTH: about 8 km

TO TAKE ON THE EXCURSION: mountain shoes, long pants, layered clothing, hat and sunscreen. Do not forget water for the entire duration of the hike, as there are no water supply points along the way.
