META:  the woods of Monte Erio – Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Event of the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva in collaboration with Asiago Guide

On Saturday 21 June 2025, at 6:00 pm, an evocative evening excursion through pastures and beech and fir woods will lead you, along little-traveled paths, to the characteristic Baito Erio, following the tracks of mountain animals.

During the walk, the scents of wild herbs, the bright colors of mountain flowers and the melodious singing of birds in the twilight hours will create an exciting spring atmosphere, ideal for immersing yourself in the well-being of nature.

Upon arrival at Baito Erio, participants will be welcomed by the warmth of the lit fire and a typical dinner organized by the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva, designed to enhance the flavors of the area.

The typical menu includes:

• Barley with wild herbs, mushrooms and bacon
• Cheese and cold cuts platter with sauces based on herbs and mountain flowers
• Treats
• Water, wine and coffee.

At the end of the dinner, the return will take place along a simple path, accompanied by the light of the sunset that slowly gives way to the starry sky, giving a magical ending to an evening of nature and tradition.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 1 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, any head torch if in possession with a fixed red light.

🫰COST: €50 for the guided excursion and dinner per person, €35 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
