Destination: the districts and woods of Roana di Sopra
Event organized and co-financed in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Roana and the Pro Loco of Roana.

Starting on foot from the center of Roana you will travel along ancient connecting roads from the characteristic mountain village to the forests.
We will head towards Roana di Sopra to immerse ourselves in the Sprunch forest, home to many wild animals such as foxes, badgers and roe deer whose signs of presence we will encounter.
You will cross mature beech and fir forests, but also areas that were affected by Vaia, where biodiversity is rich in essences.
You will discover the importance that trees have always had for man since ancient times, through sensory experiences and rediscovering ancient uses of wood, bark, resin...

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and some short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The uphill elevation gain is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate (long trousers strongly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen.
🫰COST: €10 for the guided excursion per person. Free for children under 15 years old.
