Destination: the districts and woods of Roana 

Event organized and co-financed in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Roana and the Pro Loco of Roana.

Starting on foot from the Roana Pond you will walk along ancient roads connecting the characteristic mountain village and its mountains. 

At sunset we will head into the woods, home to many wild animals such as foxes, badgers and roe deer of which we will meet some traces. 

As darkness falls , the magic of the night in the woods with its sounds will reveal itself in all its fascinating mystery. On the way back, there will be no shortage of opportunities to gaze at the stars and discover many scientific and mythological curiosities about the celestial vault.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and some short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The uphill elevation gain is less than 240 m, there are no exposed sections. 

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate (long trousers warmly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, head torch with fixed red light.

🫰COST: €10 for the guided excursion per person. Free for children under 15 years old.
