Guided hike in places of great war-"strong Campolongo-the viglilia of the conflict"-by the Association "Plateau" Guides in the plateau of Asiago and 7 Municipalities
GREAT HIGHLAND WAR REVIEW:
The Strong Campolongo, ancient building of the first world war, is located north of the municipality of Rotzo, surrounded by mixed forest and built on steeper slopes of the mountain, in the realm of grey Limestone, fossiliferous and dramatically eroded. The Strong Sister Verena, was destroyed and abandoned in 1916. It is now possible to visit the Fort, restored and is no longer unsafe.
EXCURSION PROGRAMME ON THE OCCASION OF THE CENTENARY:
Meeting expected at the Rifugio Campolongo; The guided tours take place at the following times:
23 May: 09.00 and 12.00, 15.00, 19.00 FREE for the occasion and the importance that our Association is believed to have this event in 100 years.
24 May: 10.00, 12.00, 15.00 and 17.00 FREE for the occasion
Tour Duration: 3 hours
Difficulty: Easy
Lunch or dinner (not obligatory): At the Rifugio Maria and costs 15 € full menu composed of butter and Sage Dumplings, Hungarian Goulash with Polenta and Grilled Vegetables, water, bulk wine and Coffee hut.

On the occasion of the centenary of the great war, the guides will be the Plateau free guided tours
DRESS CODE:
Mountain or trekking shoes, long pants, K-way, hat and sweatshirt.
RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES:
Sunglasses, trekking poles.

The Association "Plateau Guides" is composed of local guides that operate on the territory of the seven Municipalities Plateau for many years. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are mountain professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany busloads of people on excursions and tours drive on the territory, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002 and according to the laws of that professional fan part.
