On Saturday, November 25 , 2023, an event will take place in Gallio that combines the passion for reading and local history. At 5.00 p.m., the Council Chamber of the Municipality will be transformed into a literary salon to host the presentation of the book "La Cappelliera" [Ed. Artistica Bassano], the first work by the author Federica Finco. 

The novel tells the story of the enterprising Maria Pellizzari, of her movements from Vicenza to the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities, from Gallio to Bassano del Grappa, and draws a path of personal and professional growth. 

Maria, initially a teacher on the Plateau, evolves her career by becoming a successful entrepreneur in Bassano, proving to be a key figure in the socio-economic development of the area.

The event represents a precious opportunity for all lovers of literature and local history to immerse themselves in a story that celebrates female resourcefulness and entrepreneurship. The presentation will also be an opportunity to dialogue with the author and discover the inspirations behind the writing of this work.
