On Thursday 24 July 2025, at 9.00 pm, at the Institute of Cimbrian Culture in Roana, Hoga Zait, the Cimbrian festival of Roana, offers one of the most evocative shows of the program: "Altaburg. The place where the love between the poet and the fairy is born".

Through words, music and poetry, the public will be led to discover the famous legend of the Plateau that tells of the impossible love between a man and a magical creature. 

To give voice to this poetic story will be Paola Martello, Pierangelo Tamiozzo and Domenica Stefani, in an intense and evocative narrative that intertwines the text of the book "Altaburg - Can you love a fairy?", written by Paola Martello, and the musical conceived by Pierangelo Tamiozzo.

An event that combines tradition, imagination and feeling, in perfect Hoga Zait spirit, to rediscover the value of ancient tales and their power to speak to the contemporary soul.

THE INSTITUTE OF CIMBRIAN CULTURE

Founded in 1973, the Institute of Cimbrian Culture of Roana carries out constant work aimed at researching, documenting, preserving, protecting and enhancing the history and development of Cimbrian culture and language, in particular of the Seven Municipalities.

The Institute's activities are many: from Cimbrian language courses to in-depth editorial publications, from historical-linguistic research to support for students or researchers, from museum to library activities, from thematic conferences to cultural events and much more.

The Institute also manages the Museum of the Cimbrian Tradition, where it is possible to touch the different linguistic, historical and cultural aspects related to the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
